1 John 5:13
Jon Steingard was lead vocalist and guitarist for the Christian rock band Hawk Nelson, but recently announced that he no longer believes in God. In an Instagram post on May 20, 2020, Steingard confessed that after growing up in a Christian home and being the lead front man for a Christian rock band said, “I no longer believe in God.” As you can expect, reactions to this statement have been all over the map. For many, stories such as these bring up the question of eternal security .

Or, what about the person who does produce fruit for a while but stops pursuing God and chooses not to have a relationship with God? Or what about… If such a person changes their mind and decides to repent, does that mean their works got their salvation back?

There’s nothing like living a doubt-free life and KNOWING that you are saved! John ...
