Can I lose my salvation? - Part 3 (5 of 7)
Series: You Asked For It

Ephesians 2:8-9
Over the past couple of weeks, we've been addressing the question:
Can I lose my salvation?
Many people believe that you can be saved by God and be headed to heaven, but then become lost again and be headed to hell...
Other people believe once you're saved, you'll always be saved.
In the previous two messages, we've dug into God's word on this topic and from the Bible, I've given you seven reasons why I believe in the eternal security of the believer.
1. Because Salvation is by GRACE, not WORKS
2. Because Jesus erased our debt and took our place once and for all
3. Because of being Justified Freely
4. Because of the Gift of God is Eternal Life
5. Because of the Seal and Guarantee of the Holy Spirit
6. Because I'm being Guarded by the Power of God
7. Because of being Heirs of God and Coheirs with Christ
For those reasons, and because of what God's word says... I believe when a you turn away from sin, and trust the sacrifice that Jesus made for you on the cross-and you turn to Jesus as the Lord of your life-you are saved!
[Ephesians 2.8-9], ''For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift?- not from works, so that no one can boast.''
The Bible teaches that salvation is a gift of God, that happens by grace through faith.
And God's word teaches us that once you've been sealed with the promised Holy Spirit and you're truly in the hand of God-you will remain in His hand forever and you will endure to the end.
Today, I'm glad you're here, because we're going to continue this study... and we're going to do so in a little different format.
You see, there are so many questions people ask that are connected to the doctrine of eternal security in one way or another... and so today, for the remainder of our time together, I'd like to address a handful of those questions.
