Mat 17:27 KJV - Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto

''The only things that have spawned more liars than income taxes are fish stories, golf and body weight.''
The bible has many fish stories within its pages. The Lord and his disciples were out in the middle of nowhere and of course a great multitude of people had followed them, when the Lord decided to feed them. Upon asking how much food they had to feed this massive multitude of people, he was told they had found a lad with five loaves of bread and two fishes.
The men in this crowd added up to a total of five thousand, not including the women or the children. Jesus tells them to seat the people in an orderly manner, then he broke the bread, he blessed it, and the disciples begin to pass the food out and in the end everyone was feed and they had twelve baskets of food left over, now that is a fish story.
In today's story we will see that the Lord will once again use a fish to perform a mighty miracle and there ...
