Nehemiah 9: 9 - 11
Neh 9:9 KJV - And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red sea;
Neh 9:10 KJV - And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou get thee a name, as [it is] this day.
Neh 9:11 KJV - And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters.

Theme: ''The Lord made himself a name above all names''
MOST RESPECTED NAME
When Salvation Army founder William Booth was dying, there were some legal matters to tend to. The lawyer said to Mrs. Booth, ''If you can get him to sign these papers the will can be executed much more smoothly.'' The problem was that he was drifting in and out of consciousness, and often delirious. But they were able to wake him long enough to try to get the signature. Miraculously he was able to grasp a pen and begin signing, though scribbled somewhat roughly. The lawyer said it was good enough. Then he died. Later examination revealed that on every one of those papers the signature was different than his known inscription...matter of fact, it was not even his name...on every line he wrote: Jesus.
The only name on his mind in his dying moments...and it should be our most respected name in all our living moments.
