Take your Bibles now this evening and be finding your place at Romans, chapter 12. Again, if you would, Romans 12 tonight and we'll begin looking in just a moment at verse number seven. And if you are our guest tonight, or perhaps you haven't been here since about the beginning of the summer, what we're doing here on Sunday nights is a series of studies that we have entitled unwrapping your spiritual gift. And what we're doing here is we are showing you how you can use your gift for God's glory. And really what we are doing in and through this series of studies is we are going through Romans, chapter 12, and what are known as the motivational gifts. As we're looking through these motivational gifts, we are discovering what motivates you, what moves you, what drives you, what directs you, what propels you and pushes you to be who you are and to do what you do. Tonight, we're going to be looking at the gift of the teacher. If you haven't been here, I want to encourage you to take your test along with us.
If you walked in tonight, you should have had received a little handout, and you can take this test along with us and you can follow along there on your guide tonight. Before we get started, let me just make this statement as a way of introduction. You're probably going to have to pay pretty close attention as I share with you tonight about the gift of the teacher, because if we're not careful, you can become a little distracted, you can become a little confused, because really, the gift of the teacher may not be exactly what you would expect that it would be, but it is a gift that God has given to the church.
