Take your Bibles now this evening and be finding your place one more time in Romans, chapter 12. We're rounding the home stretch, coming up close on the end of our series of studies that we've been in for the last couple of months, here in Romans 12. We've entitled this series of studies, ''Unwrapping your Spiritual Gifts, Using your Gifts for His Glory.'' Now you're there in Romans 12. Go ahead and find your place at verse number eight, and once you find your place there at Romans 12:8, I want you to look right up here for just a moment.
If you were here last week, you remember what we've done in and through this series of messages is we have studied what are known as the motivational gifts; that gift, that personality, that each and every one of us has as a result of being created in the image of God. You see, when God created you, when God made you and God molded you, he gave you a gift. You say, pastor, God gave me a gift? Yes, he did. God gave you a gift. You say, well pastor, what kind of gift did God give me? The Bible calls it the spirit of man. If you haven't written this down already, jot down Zachariah 12:1. The Bible says there in Zachariah 12:1, that it is the Lord who forms a spirit of man within him. In other words, it is that part of you that longs to know God.
That is the part of you that feels empty and hollow and void until you come to that point and place in your life where you accept Christ and the Holy Spirit sets up residence within your heart, and every single person who has ever been born has been given this gift and every single person has at least one, sometimes more than one of these seven personalities.
