Faith is believing something is true even if you don't experience it. After WW II was over on the wall of the Nazi prison camp in Auschwitz, Poland was written a poem in which the person expressed their faith even in things they did not experience.

I believe in the sun even when it is not shinning. I believe in love even when I cannot feel it. I believe in God even when he is silent.

If I truly believe God exists, I will accept the fact that I do not understand why and how he works out his plan in the world. I will trust that he is sovereign over all no matter what happens.

Background :1-15 He prays remembering the almighty power God used to deliver the nation from bondage and slavery in Egypt some 900 years ago.

In :3-5 God came in splendor at Mount Sinai as his glory was revealed to the people so they would fear and reverence him.

In :6-7 God demonstrated his power to the nations living around the Sinai Peninsula; when they attacked Israel, they were defeated.

In :8-13 God gave his people victory over the nations living in the Promised Land by using nature to accomplish his will.

In :14-15 God is again seen punishing the Egyptians for their cruel slavery of his people which set them free to be a nation.

God has revealed his glory to his people and his almighty power in creation by delivering them from Egypt in past generations.

God is just and therefore he will always punish sin. Everyone will judged for their sins, no one will get away with them forever. Psalm 7:8,11 Let the Lord judge the peoples . . . God is a righteous judge, who is angry with the wicked every day. I WILL WAIT :16 His response to God's revelation of judgment was to tremble. Body trembles - fearful of God's judgment upon them.
