Daniel 4

INTRODUCTION: We are in a series through the OT book of Daniel. I was approached by a fellow Pastor, and African American last week asking if we were doing a series that addressed the racial and cultural issues of our day. In his own words he said, ''No people have been through what my people have been through''.

- Taken from their country, to a foreign land?
- Enslaved?
- Their manhood Emasculated?
- Their names changed so that every time they looked at their drivers license they saw the name given to them by their slave masters?
- Has there ever been a people to endure such treatment?

Turn if you would to the book of Daniel.

The book of Daniel began while these young men were teens. By chapter 4, Daniel is about my age, somewhere in his 40's.

His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion endures from generation to generation.

The story that follows is the testimony of Nebuchadnezzar, this is his conversion experience. Everyone has a story, everyone has a biography, not every has a testimony. Nebuchadnezzar has a testimony.

Notice that it begins with...
1. The Problem of Pride
4 I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at ease in my house and ...
