The Key to Abundance (3 of 5)
Series: living Proof
Craig Smith
John 6: 3-4
I. Introduction
Hey, welcome to Mission Hills. So glad to have you with us today. We are in the midst of a series called Living Proof where we're looking at seven stories about seven signs that Jesus performed. They eyewitness to these signs, a man named John, called them signs rather than miracles because they didn't just prove that Jesus was who he said he was, the son of God...but because they provided living proof of what God is like, what he cares about and what's important to him.

Unfortunately, it's something that I personally care a lot about.

In fact, as much as I hate to admit it, I often make decisions that are based on avoiding things that are uncomfortable. And it doesn't even have to be big things. Like, has anybody else done this: sometimes, my phone will ring and I'll let it go to voicemail because then I can read the transcript of the voicemail and respond by text. Or how about this: there have been times that I've started to turn down an aisle at the grocery story and then saw that someone I know was in that aisle...but they haven't seen me yet...so I just continue right past that aisle. Anybody else? Speaking of grocery stores. I remember when they first put in the self checkout-lanes. I was so excited because it meant that, if I was lucky, I could get in and get out without every having to talk to anyone! Now, I know some of you are like ''what are you talking about? Unplanned conversations and talking to random people is the bes ...
