February 1st
Gen 8:4 KJV - And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
If you go online and do a search about Noah's ark, you will find a plethora of stories about people finding the ark. I have no doubt that there have been people who have came in contact with the ark, but for some reason God is not allowing the world to see the ark up close and personal. Even if we never physically find the ark, this does not diminish the fact that it is somewhere up on Mount Ararat, in what we call modern Turkey. In time we may actual have vivid visual evidence of the ark, but if we don't that does not change one thing, the bible tells us that the ark landed on the blessed mount.
The Beauty and Blessing of Mount Ararat
The ark first came aground on the mountain of Ararat, in Armenia, a sacred spot to this day; and here God made His covenant with Noah, renewing His first blessing to Adam, permitting the use of animal food; promising that the course of nature should never be disturbed again till the end of all things, and making the glorious tints of the rainbow, which are produced by sunlight upon water, stand as the pledge of this assurance.
