Ephesians 6:1-2

I. Introduction

Welcome to Mission Hills. No matter where you are in the world, I want you to know you've found a church home with us and we're so glad to have you with us today for Mother's Day weekend. I know this is a weird season and a lot of you may not be able to be with your mom's today...but if you are with your mom, or maybe you're just with a mom...why don't you take a moment right now to give them a big hug and say Happy Mother's Day!

Moms, we love you so much and we know how high and how hard a calling motherhood is, so before we get into the message for today, I just want to pray a blessing over you:

For every mom that's feeling like she's at the end of her rope, would you lengthen it, given her a supernatural infusion of patience. And for every mom that's feeling anxious and afraid, would you remind them that they are warriors, contending every day for the hearts and minds of their children.

Moms, I have a special gift for you today directly from God. It's actually a command from God to your children, so if they're not in the room with you, you might want pause this and go grab them real quick and then watch this part together. Because you're going to want to make sure they hear this command. This is Ephesians 6:1
