What's up Waypoint Church! Happy Sunday to you! Let me just tell you...I miss you! I mean that!! This virtual pastor thing is for the birds! Preaching to empty seats and red lights is not near as fun as having you hear heckling me and laughing at me, but I'm deeply confident God is doing some supernatural work that is powerful, perfect, personal, and permanent in the lives of those love Him and trust Him. Do you believe that? You should because that's His promise.
Romans 8:28 says: ''And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.'' God gave us this incredible promise for confusing days like these when you can't see how anything good will ever come out of the situation. God wants you and I to know when we can't see the movement of His hand, we can always trust the motive of His heart. God loves you. He loves you deeply. He loves you completely. He loves you uniquely. And He loves you unconditionally. Because of His unequivocal, undisputable love for us, God always has our good and His glory in mind in everything He does or allows. Everything! You say, 'I don't understand!' Of course you don't because you're not God. He's given you this promise so that when you don't understand His method, but you don't ever have to doubt His motive. I hope that is a blessing and an encouragement to you this morning.
What's the best news you've ever heard? Maybe it's when you heard your wife say, 'I'm pregnant.'
