Alright. We're in 1 Peter, Chapter four again tonight, picking up where we left off last Sunday, or last Wednesday night. 1 Peter, Chapter four and verse number seven, and we're talking here tonight about how to be a good steward of God's grace. How to be a good steward of God's grace, that's where we are tonight. 1 Peter, Chapter four, and verse number seven.
Interesting, so my ADD is really bad tonight. Don't anybody say squirrel. So, I'm looking here at my iPad, and Haile Tafara, from Ethiopia is sending me a message on Facebook. I'm not going to answer it right now, but anyway, Haile is there in Ethiopia.
1 Peter, Chapter four and verse number seven. How to be a good steward of God's grace. Let's just read these versus again tonight, get our minds going in the same direction. Peter says, ''But the end of all things is at hand; therefore, be serious and watchful in your prayers, and above all things, have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.'' Now, that's kind of what we're camping out on here. Good stewards of the manifold grace of God. ''If anyone speaks at him, speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies. That in all things, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ to whom belongs the dominion forever and ever. Amen.''
I shared with you last Wednesday night that, as we began, that there are three elements of the Christian faith. There is that element of the Christian faith that is supernatural. By the way folks, if everything is natural, and you can explain it with your own human intellect and ability, then really, His ways are really not higher than our ways, and His thoughts are not really greater than our thoughts.
