I want us to work through Daniel, Chapter 4 tonight. This really is an important and a really impactful chapter. And we're going to do this a little bit different as we get into the chapter, and I think that you'll see that when we get into it.

So Daniel, Chapter 4, beginning in verse 1. Can we just go to the Lord in prayer one more time? And then we'll jump right into the text tonight. Father, I do thank you again for the privilege of being in this place tonight with my Abilene family. And I thank you for their faithfulness tonight. And I thank you that even many of those folks who are tired, and they've had a long weekend and a busy afternoon, and they've got to get up early in the morning, they still came to worship tonight.

So Father, tonight I pray that just the next few minutes as we move our way through this really unique chapter in your word, that Father, you would just give us something to live on this week. That Father, you would use this story, this account of the conversion of a king, Father, to encourage us tonight. So Father, tonight, I pray for anointing and unction. Give me the words to say tonight; may the words of my heart ... May the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be acceptable to you tonight. Lord, tonight we ask you to be in us and bless us, in Jesus's name. Amen.
