Message Truth: Just as God desires us to worship, witness, pray, and fellowship, He also desire that we give, and our giving is to be motivated by our experience of His grace.
(2 Cor 9:6-8 NASB) Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully. {7} Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. {8} And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
SEVEN STEP STRATEGY REVIEW
The mission of our church is to increasingly know Jesus Christ and to continually make Him known.
We will seek to live out this mission by implementing the following seven step strategy for building a biblically functional body:
1. Develop a burden for unsaved men and women because they are important to God.
2. Build relationships to these people by offering authentic friendship, even though it may cause us to live outside our comfort zone.
3. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, present a clear presentation of the Gospel.
4. Help these people get connected to s small group in order to maximize spiritual strength.
5. Lead people to discover and exercise their spiritual gifts.
6. Serve the body of Christ through ministry to others.
7. Teach believers to practice stewardship of time, talents, gifts, and financial resources for Kingdom purposes.
WHAT HAS GRACE DONE FOR US ?
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, that no one should boast.
God is the originator of all grace.
We have been saved by grace.
Grace is a gift of God.
