2 Samuel 11
Message Truth: Accountability is foundational to the New Testament concept of fellowship. True Biblical fellowship cannot exist without the elements of stimulating one another to love and good deeds as we pursue a walk with God.
Eccl. 4:12 And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three {strands} is not quickly torn apart.
Introduction: Several years ago I had a brief encounter with a book titled, Disciples Are Made Not Born . However, no where in Holy Scripture do you get the idea that this pursuit of God is to be done solo. Even the most casual reading of the New Testament leaves you with the unmistakable understanding that the Christian life is to be lived in concert (community) with other believers.
