Hey North Park family and friends. Jesus is King! He's on the throne and there is no one like Him! Thank you for joining us today to study God's Word together. These are trying times we are in. Individuals, organizations, the government, and yes churches are living in a new world right now and we are trying to learn how to navigate it. As Christ-followers we know we have a unique responsibility in these seasons. We are salt of the earth, the light of the world... we have a responsibility to glorify God with our good deeds in all seasons, to point people to our King, Jesus Christ.
Let me encourage you church... be wise in these days, heed the cautions that have been given, practice social distancing. This one way we can love our neighbors. If you are in a higher at risk category due to age or compromised immune system... take extra precautions. - Listen... this isn't some sort of hoax. This is serious, let's be vigilant in these days.
Let me also encourage you to love others in this time. Look for opportunities to help with groceries, give blood, call someone on the phone, share the gospel, even share this message. Church family let take care of one another... and ... let's be good neighbors.
History is going to mark this season. Our great grandkids will read about this in their history books one day. Let's make sure the Christian church is highlighted as being especially vigilant and loving in these days. Let's pray for a Great Awakening in our nation and around the globe. While we can't gather in person like we want to this Sunday, we can study God's Word together. Let's pray for that time as well.
