Series: The Resurrected King

Matthew 27:57 - 28:20
Intro: Happy Easter church, and more specifically Happy Resurrection Sunday! I know, we want be together to celebrate what has been called THE DAY. I can't recall a time I wasn't gathered with the church on Easter, I know many of you can't either. However, our lack being able to safely gather in person doesn't not detract from the significance of this day. In fact, the reason we can have hope in the midst of a pandemic.... the reason we can have joy in the midst of a turbulent season, the reason we know God will use even this for His people's good and His own glory... is because God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead. - Bottom line. - Jesus is was dead and now he's alive and THAT changes EVERYTHING.
Sin, sickness, death... does not get the last word. Our King is the Resurrected King. If you are tuning in and you are not so sure about Christianity and the resurrection, if you do not consider yourself a Christ follower, let me say WELCOME. Thank you for tuning in. If you've ever wondered why we Christians are so peculiar, this is it. We believe God raised Jesus from the dead. - And that has changed everything for us... it can for you as well.
Here is the plan today. The plan is for you to worship there in your home, Charles Billingsley and the team at TRBC is going to lead us in song. Keep Charles in your prayers, he was recently diagnosed with Coronavirus since the music portion of this service was recorded. He's and the team there were generous to help lead churches all over the country in worship during this time, we need to be faithful to pray for Him.
After our time in worship through singing, I'm going to share a message with you from God's Word. Try to make this as worshipful experience for you and your family as you can. Sing together, pray together, study God's Word together...
You can even log in online and give together. - One of the ways we conti ...
