ILLUS.- Do you remember your first job? As a kid I used to load clay pigeons some weekends at shooting range. I've worked all sorts of jobs. One time... I took a project of cleaning up old chicken houses (just when I thought I had said my most Alabama thing.) That job lasted for one day. I left for family vacation and never looked back. - I've had jobs I've liked more than others, I bet you have to. I've had jobs I didn't care for at all. I've had jobs I've enjoyed, but parts of those jobs that I didn't. - But work has always been a part of my life...

Work is one of those essential rhythms in life. Just as you need rhythm for music... you need for work human flourishing, for a healthy life. We all need something to DO.

Work is important we are going to see today... but many times have a wrong view of it. - ?Some people treat work like a curse. They spend their life trying to avoid it. Other people treat work like a god, they spend their life sacrificing everything to it hoping it brings them all they seek in term so fulfillment. - We need a BIBLICAL, GOSPEL DRIVEN VIEW OF WORK.?

Big Idea: Work is a gift to be stewarded.
