We have been studying the six power-packed chapter of the Book of Galatians. There is so much more we could mine out of this book.
But, we will wrap it up this morning.

Last week I started unpacking chapter 6. (How many of you have moved to a new place, maybe years ago, and still have some unpacking to do?)

There is a tension and a challenge that we live with today as believers. But it's nothing new, as Paul is addressing the same tension in the Book of Galatians.

The believers had strayed from the pathway of living and operating in the power of Grace, and the governing of the Holy Spirit. They had gone back to a legalistic operation of self-effort and works.

I want to read a passage from Wuest's word studies from the Greek New Testament:

That is exactly the predicament which many Christians are in today, since they do not have an intelligent understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the needful and correct adjustment of the Christian to the Spirit, and are consequently depending upon self effort to obey the ethics of the Pauline epistles, or the legal enactments of the Mosaic law.

I believe that Paul had a vision, an understanding of a church that was dynamic, vibrant, and filled with the wonder of God! And the only way that becomes possible is by living, sowing, and walking in the Spirit.
