The Generous Life (1 of 3)
Series: Generous Life

Matthew 6:19-34

This morning, we're kicking off a brand new series called, ''The Generous Life'' and over these next few weeks, we're going to be talking about money. Now-I want you to take a deep breath... and relax... look at your neighbor and tell them... ''It's going to be okay!''

For some reason, Giving has always been one of those sermon topics that make people clinch their fists, shift in their seats and begin checking their watches-some of you are already thinking... ''How can I get out of here?!?''

It's just like Ricky Bobby's Daddy said, ''If you ain't first... you're last!''
That's some good theology right there!

Listen... Jesus came to be first in your life. Period. He didn't die on a cross so that he could make the top 10 in your life. He came to be your #1! He came to be the LORD of your life.

And let me just tell you, like one preacher said...
