Whether you are a part of our Waypoint Church family, or just dropping in to worship with us online, I want to thank you for being with us. I want to give a special shout-out to Waypoint Iola who are still able to gather and worship together this morning. We love you and praise God for you!

Question: Do you pray differently about big things in your life than you do small things in your life?

Understand when we talk about the size of issues and problems in our life we're comparing them to us, not God. Our power and ability, not God's power and ability. When it comes to God, there really is no big problem or issue in comparison to Him. With a word, He created the world in a moment. With that same word, He could change your world in one moment. So the size of our problems are compared to us, not God.

Let's put aside whether or not we should pray differently about big or small problems and issues, the fact is we do. We pray harder, longer, more passionately, more frequently about big things than small things. If it's large enough, we even call massive amounts of people to pray with us, right?

As you probably know President Donald Trump declared last Sunday, March 15th, a National Day of Prayer. He said this: ''As we continue to face the unique challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, millions of Americans are unable to gather in their...houses of worship...But in this time we must not cease asking God for added wisdom, comfort, and strength.'' I'm extremely grateful our president encouraged our entire nation to turn our minds, hearts, and focus to the only One who can rescue us, not only physically, but spiritually as well.
