Psalm 119:105
This is not life as we have known it. Who ever knew that something could happen that could cause the whole entire planet to hit the PAUSE button?
Schools are closed, most work places are closed, the gym is closed, churches are closed, many restaurants are closed, Sports stadiums are empty, events and meetings are all being cancelled. I mean, Ireland even cancelled St. Patty’s Day! We are certainly living in tumultuous times. People are unable to do the things that they are so used to doing. They are forced to be home. We are forced to slow down. People have so much time on their hands that they don’t know what to do with it all.
It can seem as if we are on the edge of a forest and it’s all dark and unknown, but Jesus is there to take us by the hand and direct our path.
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (KJV)
3 GOOD RESULTS THAT CAN COME OUT OF THIS CRISIS
1) We Get to See Who We Are
We’ve been forced to STOP and take a look at ourselves. Some might say, I don’t want to look at myself. If I asked you, “Who are you,” you may say, “I am a corporate executive.” “I am a coffee shop owner.” “I am a stay at home mom.” “I am a local farmer.” “I am a student.” “I am a pastor of a church.” And the list goes on and on…but wait..I didn’t ask you what you do, I asked, “WHO ARE YOU?”
If you don’t already know it, you are a masterpiece – a creation of God. You were created by God to know Him and to find your identity in Him.
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
He loves you and He has a great plan for your life. Let me encourage you, this season will pass, but in the meantime, we are not to crawl into a corner and wait for it to be over, or to be so nervous that we eat all the macaroni and cheese we have on our shelves! We must under ...
