Excerpts from an E-mail: A brother in Christ,
facing a situation, writes, "Throughout this we've
maintained our faith in our Lord believing He will
give us wisdom, that He will provide and guide us
according to His will. At my age and having worked for
myself most of my life, with the current economy in
this area, there's been no opportunity to find a
meaningful or reasonable paying job working as an
employee or to be able to pursue an entrepreneurial
force in the field of our expertise. Unfortunately we
no longer have the necessary capital and to take such
a course of action, especially considering the long
time frame for a return.

"I have been asked to join a company and to
assume responsibility for all their residential
development which includes taking over a large project
well underway. As they are a young and fast-growing
company they are not in a position to offer a
meaningful salary for this activity. Instead we've
discussed the idea of stock ownership in the company
which would also offer immediate cash flow and
prospects for substantial gain in the future. All the
principals in this company are exceptionally talented,
ethical and very likeable but, save for one, none are
yet believers. The last thing is the issue of being
unequally yoked in this relationship. We seek to
understand and live according to God's will and His
principles. I seek your counsel, wisdom, input and
guidance."
