This morning we are starting a new series called ''When you pray.'' If you are a guest this morning, first of all thank you for joining us. Many of you are here for the KKA program and that's great. Thank you for allowing Kingdom Kids to invest in your child, and thank you for joining us today for our service. I want to invite all of our guests to join us for the next 3 weeks. If you don't have a place that you plan to be next week... would you plan to be with us? Just jump in for two more weeks and see what God will do in your life. I believe this morning that God wants to do incredible things in our city and in this and the surrounding communities. Our mission here is real simple. We want to lead people to trust and follow Jesus Christ. We believe the best thing that can happen to you and your family is to be in a growing relationship with Christ. If you are looking for a church... a community of believers to plug into, to get to know, a place to explore Christianity, whatever... I encourage you to try North Park. We love families. You may be hard pressed to find a friendlier church in the area. I don't just work here, my family goes to church here, and I want to go ahead and invite you to join us again for worship next week.
When you pray... Do you pray? Sure you do. Even if you are not a believer in Christ you may very well pray. You may be agnostic and find yourself praying from time to time. Maybe you pray a little, maybe you pray a lot... maybe you haven't said a prayer in a really long time.
Prayer is important.. it's talking to God? If you had 5 minutes to talk to the President... that would be an important 5 minutes, you'd be wondering, what will I say? How should I say it? Prayer is talking to... God. He created the President. He is the Righteous King of all the earth. You don't get higher up in rank than GOD.
