"Romance For A Lifetime - Her Side"
Ephesians 5:25-30

Keeping the romance alive, from the ladies viewpoint, now there are five
greatest needs of a woman. Beginning with number five and going to number
one, number five is: A Family Commitment From The Man. Number four:
Financial Support. Number three: Honesty and Openness. Number two:
Conversation and Communication. Number one: Affection.

I want to show you, from God's word, three principals that I believe will
help you build affection. Your wife will be deeply grateful and it will help you fulfill
your number one need while helping her number one need also. Turn to
Ephesians 5:

25. "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ
loved the church and gave himself up for her

26. to make her holy by the washing with water
through the word,

27. and to present to himself as a radiant church,
without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish,
but holy and blameless.

28. In this same way, husbands ought to love
their wives as their own bodies. He who also
loves his wife loves himself.

29. After all, no one ever hated his own body,
he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ
does the church --

30. for we are members of his body."

Turn now to I Peter, chapter 3, verse 7.

7. "Husbands in the same way be considerate
as you live with your wives, and treat them
with respect as the weaker partner and as
heirs with you of the gracious gift of life,
so that nothing will hinder your prayers

Three principals in these scriptures will, I believe, make all the difference
in how a man and a wife get along together. And in these three principals a
woman's greatest need can be met -- the need for affection. How does that
happen? God in his timeless, wonderful Word has given us ...
