1 Corinthians 16:13-14
In many areas of life, the highest evaluation is to get 5 stars. Travel agents promise 5-star hotels, 5-star restaurants, and 5-star entertainment. Well, as we continue to slowly make our way through Paul's closing words in First Corinthians 16, I want to talk about being a 5-star disciple.
We left off last time in verse 12. And as we pick up in verses 13 and 14, we find 5 simple phrases that speak of 5 basic disciplines of the Christian life.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 - ''Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.''

But I'm not preaching those passages this morning. But I am preaching from these 2 verses which show us 5 things that faithful disciples DO.

Five Star Disciples go through life PEOPLE-WATCHING.
But the person they spend the most time watching is themselves.
This vitally important aspect of ''watching'' requires identification and preparation.
