I Chronicles 29:10

So David blessed the Lord in the sight of all the
assembly, and David said, 'Blessed art Thou, 0
Lord God of Israel, Our Father forever and ever.
Notice this:
Thine, 0 Lord, are the greatness and the power and
the victory and the majesty; in Thee everything
that is in the heavens and the earth, Thine is the
dominion, 0 Lord, and Thou dost exalt Thyself as
head over all. Both riches and honor come from
thee; and Thou dost rule over all; In Thy hand is
power and might, and it lies in Thy hand to make
great and to strengthen everyone.
Now, therefore, Our G-od, we thank Thee and praise-
Thy glorious Name. But who am I, and who are our
people that we should be able to offer as
generously as this? For all things come from
Thee, and from Thy hand we have given Thee.
In an article in Possibilities, the writer said that for every one
hundred Americans who reach the age of 65, only two percent are
financially independent. That staggered my mind! Further, it said
that 23 percent must continue working, and 75 percent must depend on
friends, charity and relatives.
Why do so many people fail financially? I'm going to list some
reasons.
1. Procrastination.
2. Failure to establish a definite financial goal in
life.
3. Ignorance of what many must do to accomplish the
goal.
4. Failure to understand and apply our tax laws-
5. Buying the wrong kind of life insurance.
6. Failure to develop a winning mental attitude about
money.

principles in acquiring, possessing and using money.
