INTRODUCTION: We come today to our final sermon in this series called, ''Our Fight''. We've talked so far about our - ADVERSARY, our ALLIES, our ARMOR, and today we are looking at our ATTACK. How do we wage war on the enemy?

ILLUSTRATION: Jeffery C. Ward in his book, The Civil War, tells a story about a scene that took place on a battlefield during the battle of the wilderness. All of the staff was standing around talking about Robert E. Lee, how he could do this and he could do that... Ulysses S. Grant heard all he wanted to hear and finally said to them, ''bobby lee this and bobby lee that...I am tired of hearing about Robert E. Lee. You would think he was going to do a double somersault and land in our rear. I want you to quit thinking about what he is going to do to you, and I want you to start thinking about what you're going to do to him.''

Church you have been given an arsenal of weapons with which you are to wage war. You have divine allies, your General has led from the front and already conquered death, hell, and the grave. Now you are called not to sit back and live comfortably, but rather to wage war, to take new ground... I want to hordes of hell worried about how the regiment of First Fernandina is going ruin their week.

Listen - Prayer IS the battle. The battle is won or lost in the prayer closet. Because of that - the weakest and most frail among us is no less vital to our efforts. Can you pray? If yes - you must pray.

ILLUSTRATION: Consider this - Jesus Christ walked on water. Jesus Christ calmed the story. Jesus Christ multiplied the loaves and the fish, Jesus Christ cast our demon and raised the dead. Yet no one ever asked him to teach them how to do those things. The only teaching request he ever received was when a disciple asked him, ''Lord teach us to pray''. Could it be that they knew... His public power was in dire ...
