Have you ever been LOST? My oldest son has developed a paranoia about this. Whenever we are out... he's concerned about being lost.
ILLUS. - Vacation/Elevator/Cannon- He immediately was TERRIFIED. The kid that was so hyped up to run ahead, was not trembling if only for a few seconds alone in an elevator. It opened on the floor below and there stood strangers in front of him. He felt totally lost.

Every Christian is supposed to be a FINDER. We are supposed to be looking for and finding people that need Jesus. Every church needs to be a on a search and rescue mission.
Listen, you and I are here today because WE WERE FOUND. - Jesus found you.
Listen, the world is full of LOST people that need to be found.- I don't know who this is original with but listen... it's my key point of the whole sermon... FOUND PEOPLE, FIND PEOPLE.
A great picture of this truth is in John 1. John gives an incredible picture of the evangelistic fervor that accompanied the first disciples. We can see in this passage a chain of witnessing from John the Baptist on. People pointing people to Jesus, bringing people to Jesus...
