Malachi 1
Introduction: I have made certain words 'bold' so you would not be troubled by all the scripture references. Below you will be able to look up any bold word to receive a deeper understanding.
Malachi is known as a Minor Prophet of the Old Testament. I believe we will find great Biblical truths about the nature of our God within the words penned by Malachi. Malachi is a messenger of God so let us see what he might have to say to today's saints. Before we study the words penned in Malachi let us open with a prayer.
''Abba, You are my Heavenly Father, You are my Creator, and You are my fortress and strength. I believe You are the Christ the Son of the Living God. Show us Your heart and draw us closer to You. Entice us into a deeper appreciation and affection of Your love. Let the words penned in this book bring You glory, honor, and lace the words with spiritual power and insight. Oh Lord, we have many distractions keeping us from You so we place them at Your feet for the next few minutes. Help us please, to place these distractions at the foot of cross and leave them all in Your care. We lay down these distractions and concentrate on Your written word. Come Lord Jesus and teach us, heal us, and mold us into Your children reflecting You and You alone. Amen and amen.''
Read along with me as we slow down and go verse by verse through the Prophet Malachi's message.
