Amber Alert
An amber alert (also AMBER alert) or a child abduction emergency alert (SAME code: CAE) is a message distributed by a child abduction alert system to ask the public for help in finding abducted children. It originated in the United States in 1996.
AMBER is a backronym for America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response. The alert was named after Amber Hagerman, a 9-year-old girl abducted and murdered in Arlington, Texas, in 1996.
The decision to declare an AMBER Alert is made by each police organization (in many cases, the state police or highway patrol) that investigates each of the abductions. Public info in an AMBER Alert usually consists of the name and description of the abductee, a description of the suspected abductor, and a description and license plate number of the abductor's vehicle if available.
I think it is time to declare an ''Amber Alert'' for Jesus. He has been abducted and someone has taken him out of Christmas. There has never been a greater crime than the crime of taking Jesus out of Christmas.
It is time for us to stand up and take back the birthday of Jesus Christ and put him back in the manger and let us truly celebrate his birth. Our money crazed society has displaced the ''Reason for the Season'' and as Christians we have sit back and allowed it to happen!!! Christmas is about the birth of Jesus not about online buying or futile celebrations.
