In this sermon we will see that God’s unseen hand is capable of guiding us and prodding us to the right place, at the right time, for the right purpose.

In looking back at my life, I honestly feel like God’s hand was actively working behind the scenes. I know some have a hard time believing this, but I have always sensed God did some unseen maneuvering before I was saved.

I entered high school in the fall 1974 and should have graduated in the summer of 1978. The issue was that I had other plans for my life than studying, so I crammed four years of high school into five.

If not for having to go to high school that extra year, I would not have met the love of my life and would not have married the woman that would stand by my side for the next 38 plus years. I was walking down the hall and saw her walking with another guy on the first day of school.

It was love at first sight for me, now it took me a few years to convince her of of that fact. I told one of my friends that I was going to find out who she was and as “luck” would have it she was in my first period class. Fate and good fortune would take care of the rest and I married my high school sweet heart in 1981.
Now let me give you the rest of the story!!!

If I wanted to see my “girlfriend” on Sunday’s I had to go to church with her, so that was an easy decision for me, though I was lost. In my final year of high school I not only met the love of my life, but I also had a “bible Literature” teacher who told me that she loved me and cared for me on a daily basis.
