You Are a Part of the Solution

WELCOME: We welcome you this morning to Oakdale Community Church as we wrap up our series, "Living AS If God Matters". The message this morning is going to touch on an especially key area, the fantastic plan that God has for this world he has created and how each one of us fit into helping him with accomplishing that plan, how "We are part of the solution!" PRAYER: Father, I pray this morning that each of us will be able to see how we can fit into your program, into your plan. I pray each of us will be able to see the great needs and concerns that people have, people you have created, people you love deeply and care about, and how we might be a part of the solution for fulfilling those needs and concerns.
Father, there may be many that have come here this morning not looking to be part of a solution, but they are looking for the solution, they are looking for answers in their life. They maybe have jumped from church to church, maybe from relationship to relationship, from one self help program to another, or maybe they are just taking another lap in life and aren't sure what the purpose or meaning for their life might be. Open their eyes and heart this morning Father, to what You can do for them.
For others of us here this morning, please open our eyes and hearts to what we can do for you, Father. Many of us have been living kind of comfortably, not really looking to make a difference, not looking to make an impact on the lives of others, we are just kind of sliding into home. Father, show us where we can be used by you significantly this week, this month and for this next year. Show us how we can live life as if you really do matter.
