Living the Dream (2 of 4)
Series: Begin Again

Joel 2:28
When we were in pre-school and Kindergarten, we were all asked the question, ''what do you want to be when you grow up?'' A professional baseball, football or basketball player, a ballerina or a musician, a firefighter or a policeman, a doctor or a dentist, a lawyer or a judge, a scientist or an engineer. No matter what came out of our mouths as little children, it was predicated upon a vision or a dream to become like someone that we looked up to. For me, it was to be a policeman. Sometimes I would sit in his police car barely being able to look over the dashboard but looking at all the switches and gadgets inside the car and the lights on top of the car.
What's beautiful about being young is that you have the whole world in front of you and you can dream about your future. Dreams include good visions for your life and hope and things all working out. Even as young people, we are willing to wait to see our dreams come to pass. We know we have to grow up first (''when I grow up, I want to .....'').
Let me tell you something that you may not already realize. GOD HAS A DREAM FOR YOU. Your Heavenly Father, the One who loves you most, came all the way from Heaven to earth not only so that you would be with Him for eternity, but while you are here on earth, to fulfill a plan, a vision, a dream, His plan, His vision, His dream, a wonderful DREAM for your life.
God has a dream for you and it's more than marching orders, and it's more than just what's good for you, it is also a dream that He puts in you that fills and fulfills your heart. When we talk about dreams and visions in the Scriptures, we are talking about:
- A means by which God communicates to people,
