Acts 2:46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. (ESV)

I want to share with you the Biblical importance of connecting to people. We are the church and Jesus has brought us into the church (or we can say that Jesus has brought us into the Kingdom) not just to be blessed, but to be a blessing, not just to be loved, but to love, not just to be shown mercy, but to be compassionate, not just to be recipients of grace, but to give grace to others, not to judge, but to show mercy, not to put or keep walls up, but to tear walls down.
Ephesians 2:13 But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ. 14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. 15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. 16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was ...
