A man from MN traveled to FL on business and had planned for his wife to fly down the next day to join him for a vacation. When the man arrived, he discovered the hotel had computers in the lobby for guests to use to surf the web and send emails so he sent an email to his wife. The only problem was he got (1) letter wrong in the address so instead of going to his wife, he accidently emailed a pastor's wife who'd recently lost her husband. When the widow received the email, all her family heard was a scream followed by a loud thud b/c she had fainted. The email read:
To: My loving wife Subject: I've arrived
You're probably surprised to hear from me, but they have computers here now. I see all the details have been made for your arrival tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you then! P.S. It sure is hot down here!
For those of you just joining us, we're in a series entitled - Questions Jesus Asked. As I've shared thru this series, Jesus was the Master question-asker as during His earthly ministry He asked some 307 questions - questions that penetrated the heart and brought each/every person face-to-face w/ the Truth of God.
This AM though, there's a bit of a twist, as the question we're going to look at wasn't actually asked by Jesus but about Jesus by the angelic beings at the tomb.
On the 1st day of the week, very early in the AM, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down w/ their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, ''Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!
