Exodus 20:17

On Nov. 16, 1930, Ms. Henrietta Garret, an 81 yr. old widow, passed away. For most of us, Ms. Henrietta's death is sad, but uneventful. Yet her death set off the most fantastic case of inheritance litigation in history. At the time of her death, she had only one known relative, a 2nd cousin and less than a dozen friends - and more importantly, no will for $17 mil. estate. As a result, people came out of the woodwork to attempt to prove their relationship w/ her and claim her estate. How many? You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not co ...
