Being People of the Light
Richard Bradley
Ephesians 5:8-14

We're living in a dark world and maybe in one of the darkest times of history. I don't think anyone of any serious intellect would be willing to dispute that. One has to go on a serious search to find any light at all in this crazy, upside down world and this is a shame because our world is ever so much darker than it should be.

Why would that be? This is true because God's people have been left here by Christ to be people of light; of God's light to a dark, forbidding world. 13 But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: ''Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.'' NKJV

There was no light to reflect because they had never been exposed to God's light and neither could be. Just as Moses reflected God's shekinah glory in his face, we believers reflect God's shekinah glory in our lives because o ...
