Demonic Wisdom

James 3:13-18
Are there really demons in the world? You bet! Who are these demons? They are angels that followed Lucifer when he attempted to usurp God's throne for his own. Forgetting that he was a mere created being and lifted up in pride he rebelled against heavenly authority. Certain angelic beings were deceived by him and these became his demonic minions when they were cast out of heaven. These demons are still plaguing mankind today. A place in the lowest realm of the abyss has been reserved for them but not yet.
What do demons do - what's their job? Basically they have two occupations. First, they do everything they can to keep lost people lost. Second, they seek to misrepresent God to a dark and dying world by keeping believers from bearing their cross and living for Christ daily. They do this through a variety of means but instilling ''demonic wisdom'' in believers is one of their favorites.
James 3:13-18
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. NKJV
Notice what James said about demonic wisdom:
