Proverbs 6:6-11

Open to Proverbs 6. How many of you LOVE your job? I mean, you can't wait to get to work? I have to be honest with you (since I'm a pastor and all), I thought about every job I've ever had from a kid through adult, and I didn't have one job I liked at all until I became a pastor. Not one. Isn't that terrible? Here's the thing...that's the norm not the exception. Let me give you two stats that might surprise you:

1. The average person will spend about 40% of the waking hours of their adult life at work.

Genesis 2: 15 says, ''Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it.'' The very first thing God did with Adam after creating him was put him to work. Before he gave him a woman, God put Adam to work.

Listen, young guys who aren't married yet...you know what's really sexy to a woman? A J-O-B. I ...
