If you have your Bibles with you now this evening, be finding your place once again at the Old Testament Book of Genesis. Matthew was this morning, but tonight we're in Genesis Chapter 20, Verse 1. Tonight, what I want to do is I want us to look, as I mentioned this morning, at another act, another issue of disobedience in the life of a really well-known, I mean a really well-known man by the name of Abraham. The title of my message this evening is ''There he goes again.''

The late Alan Redpath - he was a great British pastor and evangelist - made this statement years ago. He said ''The conversion of a soul is the miracle of a moment. The manufacture of a saint is the task of a lifetime.'' Wow, what a powerful statement. Matter of fact, it's so powerful, I'm going to read it again. ''The conversion of a soul is the miracle of a moment, and the manufacture of a saint is the task of a lifetime.''

We were driving to church this evening and we were doing like perhaps many of you who have children, grandchildren, do on the way to church on Sunday nights. We were rehearsing, going through the memory verses. Anybody else do that on the way to church? Remember doing those days, alright? So we're there and the rain is beating so hard, it's a little hard to hear and so Kim is trying to get the attention of the little ones in the back. Ben's doing his Bible verse, and one of the Bible verses I think tonight was ''Jesus loves me'' or something like that. When we said those words, Jonathan started singing ''Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me.''

One of the questions for this evening ... And I did tell my wife that I was going to do this tonight so I'm not getting her in trouble. We were in there and then one of the questions was for Ben. ''What is your favorite animal in all of God's creation?'' He said a gecko. I don't have the foggiest idea where he got that, but a gecko. All right ...
