2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I want to teach this morning on a radical transformation that is fundamental and foundational for a believer.

Some transitions, or transformations, if you will, can be slight or gradual, meaning they might take some time. We are all in process and on a journey.

However there is a radical transformation that will allow you to change your home, your family, and the community around you.

It is a transformation that gives you promotion within the Kingdom of God, and the opportunity to be great in the words of Jesus.

That transformation is becoming a servant.

Example: Your son or daughter attends youth group one night and Pastor Stephen preaches about becoming a servant and your child gets it!

They come home and do the dishes, fold the laundry, clean the house and wash the car all without being asked. In the meantime, you stand and watch in awe! Knowing that there really is a God and you are observing both a miracle and a radical transformation!

It is the way of the Kingdom!
It is the opposite of the world!

The way to up is down.
The way to be exalted is to humble yourself.
To be first, you must be last.
It is better to give than to receive.

Becoming a servant is a radical transformation because we are born and ''lean'' so much toward selfishness.

Jesus had just been asked who of His disciples were going to get to sit on His right and left. His response?
