What To Do When Your Heart Is Troubled

INTRODUCTION: [ILLUSTRATION}> The photographer for a national magazine was assigned to get photos of a great forest fire. Smoke at the scene hampered him and he asked his home office to hire a plane. Arrangements were made and he was told to go at once to a nearby airport, where the plane would be waiting. When he arrived at the airport, a plane was warming up near the runway. The photographer thought it was the plane that was waiting for him
He jumped in with his equipment and yelled, ''Let's go! Let's go!'' The pilot swung the plane into the wind and they soon were in the air. ''Fly over the north side of the fire,'' yelled the photographer, ''and make three or four low level passes.'' ''Why?'' asked the pilot. ''Because I'm going to take pictures....I'm a photographer and photographers take pictures!'' After a pause the pilot said, ''You mean you're not the instructor?''
There are times when it is difficult to stay calm, cool, and collected. It is very difficult in our day and age to stay calm, cool, and collected because the storm that has been brewing over the past few years is now upon us. We are in the last stages of the final days before the Lord comes back for His people. We have been told in God's Holy Word that these days would occur.
The Heavenly radar is now indicating that the storm is in our area; the red that we see indicates that the storm has heavy winds; the clouds are low and heavy; and there are possible damaging twisters that will hit and bring great devastation and destruction.
This storm will leave a trail of debris and there will be no recovery from it. (I am speaking on a Biblical storm, not a literal physical storm.)
We are going to see innocent people suffer because of this great storm. We are going to experience panic, problems and pressures of gigantic proportions. We must brace ourselves for this, but we must stay the course that God has before u ...
