We're in Genesis 19 again tonight. We've been here for a while; we're going to be here for a while. This is the fourth study on a lesson, a message that we've entitled The Day That it Rained Fire. So we're dealing with the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah. Here's when I want to make a statement. We're going to go back and run through real quickly what we dealt with the last time that we were in this particular study and then jump off real quickly and get through this evening's message. Here's what I want you to understand. I do not want you to let the tone or tenor of my voice, perhaps how loud I get, how fervent I get, to overshadow the fact that this sin absolutely breaks my heart. It absolutely breaks my heart. It is a sin that is hurting our nation. It is a sin that is hurting individuals, it is a sin that is hurting families, and so, also don't say, ''Well pastor, you know them, that's the worst sin.'' Well, there may be those issues of the effects of it, but sin at its nature, all sin is rebellion against God. It's rebellion against God. And so we're dealing now with the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah.

We're in Genesis 19, beginning in verse number four. If you have young children with you here tonight, I promise you to do my best. I've got my two oldest children sitting over here to my right, and I would not say anything in front of your children that I would not want to say in front of my children, and so just know that I'll use all decorum tonight in dealing with this very sensitive, although very wicked and evil subject. We're in Genesis 19, beginning at verse four.
