We're in Genesis 19 tonight, beginning in verse number one again. We're picking up in a study we began the last time we were together. This is part of our serious look at this beginning book of the Bible, the book of beginnings, Genesis. We're dealing with creation, fall, flood, and covenant. We are now into the Abrahamic covenant. We have been in the Adamic covenant, we have dealt with the Noahic covenant, and now we are dealing and working our way through the Abrahamic covenant. We are now dealing with a carnal Christian, a worldly believer if you will, by the name of Lot. And we're in the second part of a particular study we've entitled The Day that It Rained Fire. Let's look, beginning in verse one and reading now to verse three, to get our hearts and our minds going in the same direction tonight. If you have found your place there, say a good hearty Baptist amen.

All right, the Bible says in Genesis 19, beginning in verse number one, ''Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. And he said, 'Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant's house and spend the night and wash your feet that you may rise early and go on your way.' And they said, 'No, but we will spend the night in the open square.' But he insisted strongly so that they turned in to him and entered into his house, and then he made them a feast and baked them leavened bread, and they ate.''
