JESUS CHRIST is in the renewal business. He desires to bring
about a great spiritual renewal in America. He wants to
personalize this by fostering a great revival within the church.
He will individualize it by enabling you to experience a
personal spiritual resurgence.
There have been three times in America's past when spiritual
conditions had deteriorated beyond the present point and the
nation experienced a great spiritual awakening.
Starting in 1714 (a religious and social awakening), again
starting in 1790 (frontier revivals), and a third time starting
in 1890 (social gospel movement) America was turned back from a
moral, social, cultural, and spiritual disaster to experience a
great spiritual awakening. It can happen again.
There is a clear and old path by which it is to be done.
Consider it.
Solomon had just finished the construction of the temple. In a
special revelation God acknowledged acceptance of the beautiful
facility. The Lord God Jehovah was pleased with what man called
"the House of God." However, it was the condition of the hearts
of the people that troubled the Lord and He warned:
II Chronicles 7: 14.
It still works in the life of an individual, church, or nation.
