WE'LL HAVE THESE MOMENTS TO REMEMBER
ECCLESIASTES 12: 1

JESUS CHRIST'S entire youth is summed up in one verse:
"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and favor with
God and men" (Luke 2: 52).
Observe the balance of His growth. He grew in - - -
"Wisdom," that is INTELLECTUALLY.
"Stature," that is PHYSICALLY.
"favor with God," that is SPIRITUALLY.
"and men," that is SOCIALLY.
In college I was challenged to read a little book entitled I
Dare You. That is the kind of title that would appeal to any
college student. The author likened our lives to a square. For
the figure to remain a square each side had to be the same
dimension. He then likened it to our life which needs to be
balanced. His thesis was to challenge his readers to live a
balanced life. One side represented intellectual development.
Another was the physical aspect. The third was the spiritual
dimension of life. Fourth, was the social phase of life. That, I
thought, I could handle. The physical was a snap. Then there
were the two sides that might make my square a rectangle.
Right then I accepted the dare and concluded I wanted my life to
be balanced.
A Scripture verse entered my life about the same time that
stimulated my efforts to keep the spiritual side in balance. It
is our text today: "Remember, now your Creator in the days of
your youth..."
None of us will ever be younger than we are at this moment so
the text is applicable to each of us. Let's explore s ...
