JESUS CHRIST came to fulfill the law. That has multiple meaning.
He fulfilled all the symbols taught through the ceremonial law.
He did not violate one of the moral laws.
The Ten Commandments are still used of our Lord as a school
teacher to instruct us of God's intended moral standard. Yet, a
recent Gallup Poll revealed that only one person in ten could
name even one of the Ten Commandments.
Certain laws of nature have always existed. Long before Newton
codified for us the law of gravity it was in existence. So the
principle contained in the Ten have always been universal.
I. NO OTHER GOD VS. 3
Augustine defined for all of us why there is so much
restlessness: "My soul is restless until it finds it can rest in
Thee, O God."
Competing gods.
1. Popularity.
2. Wealth
3. Government
"Be not dismayed what'er betide,
The state will take care of you...
Through every day, o'er all the way,
It will take care of you."

beginning; he works to no end."

He is a jealous God.
