Lust is so predominant in our society that has basically been accepted as a social norm. Advertisers use it to sell and entertainers use it to entertain. Sexual sin of various kinds dominate the landscape of our nation. There are less and less sexual sins that are becoming taboo and in fact they are becoming more and more accepted. In today's world sex is everywhere and therefore lust is everywhere, there is easy access to provoke thoughts, and begin a path that spirals to death.

Many in this room grew up in a time that if one wanted to view pornographic material they would likely have to walk into a store and buy it from a cashier. Today its all over the internet for free. Did you know the pornography business is a several billion dollar a year industry in America? (Below Via Covenant Eyes)

In 2015 alone there have already been well over 800 million pornographic searches on the internet.

While billions of dollars are being made 9/10 of those viewing this material online are viewing free material.

1/5 of mobile searches are for pornography.

This is just ONE AVENUE FOR LUST. You may have a lust problem and not have a pornography problem. My point is simply this... lust is a problem and that industry alone shows just how dominant a problem it is. So we need to fight lust, we need to kill it, because none of us are above falling prey to it.

This morning we are going to the OT too see two examples in one story. We are going to see an example of someone filled and dominated by lust and what that looked like in her life and we are going to see someone who resists lustful and sexual temptation and that walks in victory.
